Only a few players come close to Cristiano Ronaldo when talking about being an inspiration for others. The Portuguese forward has ruled the soccer world for years now. His discipline and perseverance have put him at the pinnacle of the soccer world. Ronaldo is the perfect example of the saying, “hard work beats talent.”
Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t always what he is now. He started as a skillful winger, who could take on defenders for fun, with his lightning-quick moves. But, he failed to deliver the end product. It was during his first stint at Manchester United, that he matured into a goal-scoring machine. Since then Ronaldo hasn’t looked back.

Cristiano Ronaldo finished the qualifiers as the 2nd highest scorer, scoring 10 goals in 9 games, certainly not bad for a 38-year-old. Portugal is looking strong under their new coach, Roberto Martinez.
He has regrouped this team, after their disappointing 2022 World Cup campaign and has made them play some brilliant soccer. If Portugal can keep up this brilliant form, then they can be rightfully considered one of the favorites for next summer’s Euros.
