Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford was involved in a car crash following his club’s match against newly promoted side Burnley. It was just hours after his team cruised to a 1-0 victory against Vincent Kompany’s side.
According to reports, Rashford’s $856,660 worth of Rolls Royce crashed into a traffic island while returning from the match. Footage emerged showing the extent of the accident on social media. Although much about the accident is not known, there hasn’t been any news of casualty or damage reported other than the damages to the car.
After the news went viral, fans had gone all bizarre about it. While some thanked god for the player’s safety, others mocked saying he missed another opportunity. One fan wrote, “Another club statement coming soon. We are cursed” Another fan wrote, “Not one peaceful day.” And a third fan mocked the star, as he said, “He pulled out at least this time it was productive.”

Rashford was a part of the Red Devil‘s game against Burnley as he played for the full 90 minutes. Erik ten Hag and the boys were delighted after captain Bruno Fernandes guided the team to victory with a goal right before half-time. The club’s new summer signing Johny Evans was given the Man of the Match award by Fernandes to remember the defender’s great performance last night at Turf Moor.

This victory came as a dash of cool breeze for the manager and the players who had faced constant failures in their past three games prior to this. The team lost back-to-back Premier League games in the last two weeks against Arsenal and Brighton. And they carried their same form to the Champions League and were thrashed 4-3 by German Champions Bayern Munich.
Marcus Rashford comes out un-harmed following the accident of his $856,660 worth luxury car
English winger Marcus Rashford is reportedly not injured after being involved in a car crash last night. This happened following United’s 1-0 win away at Burnley. Erik ten Hag and his players all took the team bus back to Carrington. Then they headed home in their private cars.
According to reports, Rashford walked away from the spot without so much as a scratch although he was quite shaken with the incident. He crashed his Rolls Royce just outside the club’s Carrington training ground on Saturday night.
An eye-witness who filmed the whole scene claimed that the club captain Bruno Fernandes came down from his car to quickly check on his fellow teammate. He was reportedly at the crash site, on his way back home. Although the attacker is still disturbed by the crash. But luckily he avoided any injury and still might feature in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup clash against Crystal Palace.
