Manchester United and Brazil star Antony has spoken out after being accused of assault by his former partner Gabriela Cavallin. The star has been the recent center of attraction after Cavallin filed an official complaint against him in Brazil and England.
According to reports, in a recent interview, Antony opened up about the assault case filed against him. He said, “I wanted to go and told her that I had obligations and had to go, so she took plates and cups and threw them on the ground and I grabbed her in order to calm her down and I didn’t hurt her.”
Earlier Cavallin opened up about the first time the former Ajax man attacked her. She mentioned that this was after Antony saw a picture of her in a nightclub. She said, “He said that if I didn’t stay with him, I wouldn’t stay with anyone. That I was pregnant with his child. Either I would stay with him or me, him and our son would die. I told him I was pregnant, that he was scaring me, making my heart race. I was shaking with fear.”

Following the recent turn of events, Antony has been dropped by the Brazil national team. And the English giants are still waiting for the ongoing investigation by the Greater Manchester Police to be over before they take a decision.
It is to be seen where this matter ends. Will Antony be found innocent as he has been saying he is? Or is he guilty of the charges that his former partner has put against him? Only time will tell.

Brazilian DJ and influencer Gabriela Cavallin opened up about the time when her former partner and Brazilian soccer star Antony tried to hit her with a glass. The influencer has earlier opened up about a number of assault incidents on her by the player.
In a recent interview, Gabriela opened up about another incident of abuse by the Manchester United winger. Describing the incident, the DJ and influencer said, “Antony locked the door of the house and wouldn’t let me go out, and I had my finger open, all hurt. He broke my things and took my passport. His mother and stepfather even trapped him inside the football court, he had a football court inside his living room, surrounded by a fence.”
Cavallin continued as she said, “He was upset, trying to get out of the court in any way, throwing a football at me, throwing a cell phone at me. He said he was going to kill me, that he was going to kill himself.”

Cavallin earlier posted pictures of the scars from the abuse and also reportedly filed an official complaint against the forward in their native land and in England as well. She also mentioned that she wasn’t even allowed to leave their home.
However, the Manchester United winger has flunked off these accusations by saying that they are all “fake” and that he was “falsely accused.” With the investigation still under process, it doesn’t seem that this ongoing spat between the former lovers is going to stop anytime soon.
