Argentina and Manchester United’s young star Alejandro Garnacho recently posted a picture with national team partner Lionel Messi where both were seen celebrating the goal of the latter. The current World Champions faced rivals Ecuador in the South American World Cup Qualifiers.
According to reports, the 19-year-old attacker set the internet world on fire after he posted the picture where he was celebrating the player’s goal in the 78th minute of the game on the sidelines. The former Barcelona star’s goal was the only goal in the game between Ecuador and Argentina.

The post has attracted comments from quite a few fans who are very excited about the player was calling Messi “the King”. One fan wrote, “Finally back to his senses”. Another guy said, “Played & trained with both Ronaldo & Messi at such a young age. Stuff of dreams!. ” And a third guy commented as he said, “Two kings but only one Goat.”
After coming through the ranks of Manchester United academy, the star has had a very magical start of his career. He has trained with Messi in the national team and with the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United during the second stint of the player at the club.

Garnacho himself has had an impressive start to his senior team career at the Old Trafford stadium. The player has so far played around 39 matches for the first team and managed to score five goals and five assists.
Garnacho gets criticized for being a Ronaldo Fanboy
Argentine star Alejandro Garnacho has been very open about being a huge Cristiano Ronaldo fan. The player was seen being very close to the 21st-century sporting phenomenon during his time at Manchester United.
On many occasions, the 19-year-old has been seen trying to imitate his idol. The best example of this is the goal celebration against Real Sociedad last season. He used the Portuguese star’s signature celebration to mark his goal. But it’s not that the player is always appreciated by the fans for being a fanboy. In many instances, Garnacho has been warned not to copy his idol, especially his attitude.
He was once openly criticized by his now-captain Bruno Fernandes for his attitude after turning up late to a number of team meetings on the pre-season tour to Thailand and Australia last season.
Talking about his attitude the Portuguese midfielder said, “On the tour, he didn’t have the best attitude that he should have had, and that’s why he didn’t get his chances until now. Fernandes said. He’s getting his chances because he’s training better, having a different attitude, and deserving his chances.”

Following the above statement from Fernandes, Argentine legend and under-20 manager Javier Mascherano came to his defense and portrayed a very different picture of the player. He said, “The first time Scaloni brought him in March, and then when we went to Toulon, he behaved spectacularly.”
Mascherano then went on to say, “Garnacho is a respectful boy. He formed a very nice bond with the boys who played in Argentina even though he didn’t really know them. I really don’t know why they say what they say. But with us, he had a behavior and predisposition that was 10 out of 10. Obviously, Garnacho is a great player. There is a reason he is playing for Manchester United for a reason at the age of 18.”
However apart from the attitude, the player seems to have one more commonality with his idol and that’s his playing ability. Many feel that Garnacho is just like Ronaldo who came from Sporting Lisbon at the age of 19.

The Argentine seems to have the same ability to drive the game single-handedly. Although he is at a very young age in his career, the fans reportedly hope that the player will become the new-age legend of the club in the coming years.
