Al-Nassr manager Luis Castro was asked about Ronaldo wanting a greater leadership position in Al-Nassr to which Luis immediately denied. He said, “Cristiano is not that person. I’m not even that person who loses leadership of the locker room, that’s not even a discussion. Cristiano plays the role of a leader very well, and I also want to play the role of a coach very well.”
This 2023–24 season, Ronaldo has made 22 appearances for Al Nassr across all competitions, tallying 20 goals and dishing out 10 assists. He has been in the form of his life and has been scoring goals just for fun. It looks like he has found his older self back in the Saudi side.
