SUMMARY
- FC Barcelona has been issued a stern warning by the PSG Ultras, a section of PSG fans.
- Earlier, Mbappe has also warned FC Barcelona ahead of the upcoming Champions League quarterfinals.
FC Barcelona has been once again sent a warning ahead of their Champions League quarterfinals, and this time, it’s from the PSG Ultras. After a gap of four years, FC Barcelona has finally reached the quarterfinals of the Champions League and will face PSG. However, PSG is looking to spare no quarters when they meet the Spanish giants in a few days.
A couple of days ago, PSG forward Kylian Mbappe issued a warning to FC Barcelona ahead of their quarterfinal tie. Mbappe has boldly claimed that he’s ready to face FC Barcelona and that the Catalan club shouldn’t expect him to hide during the match. Moreover, the French skipper will be extra motivated since it could potentially be his final season in a PSG shirt.
🚨 More: “Let’s be united. Let’s go to the stadium early, wear the red and blue, make them tremble as soon as they enter for warm-up. Let’s ignite our legendary Par des Princes, let’s be merciless. Our only goal is a win and for that: let’s play our role to the fullest. Together…

Earlier today, the PSG Ultras issued a statement urging the club supporters to try to make the conditions as difficult as they can for FC Barcelona. The Ultras said, “It is our duty to make our stadium a terrifying fortress for them and with the determination of our team that’s unbreakable.” Moreover, they have also asked the team and the fans to be united and set their sights on winning the first leg at PSG’s home ground, Parc des Princes.
Statistically speaking, FC Barcelona’s recent performances at Parc des Princes have been disappointing, to say the least. FC Barcelona’s last visit to Paris ended in a 1-1 draw during the Champions League round of 16 tie in 2021. Before that, FC Barcelona was humiliated 4-0 by PSG in Paris at the same stage of the competition in 2016. However, they managed to overturn the tie in their favor by recording a historic 6-1 victory in the return leg.
PSG Ultras take a swipe at FC Barcelona’s bribery charges
The PSG Ultras have also gone on to the extent of aiming digs at FC Barcelona’s bribery charges ahead of the quarterfinal clash. Last year, FC Barcelona was accused of bribery and corruption over alleged payments to José María Enríquez Negreira, the former vice president of the Technical Committee of Referees. Former club presidents Josep Maria Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell have also been indicted.
‼️ Message from PSG ultras: “This despicable Barcelona, so often favored by referees, must feel the hostile territory. It is our duty to make our stadium a terrifying fortress for them and with the determination of our team that’s unbreakable..” @Co_Ultras_Paris #UCL ⚔️

While FC Barcelona has vehemently denied the charges, the incident has created a massive uproar in Spanish soccer. In light of those accusations, the PSG Ultras said, “This despicable Barcelona, so often favored by referees, must feel the hostile territory.” Although there has been no response from Barcelona yet, the soccer fans are in for a treat as the two soccer behemoths get ready to take on each other at the French capital on April 10th.
Lamine Yamal dreams of scoring his first Champions League goal against PSG
Meanwhile, FC Barcelona’s wonderkid Lamine Yamal recently talked about the upcoming Champions League tie against PSG. Yamal, who has undoubtedly been the revelation of the season, has awed the soccer world with his talent. At just 16 years of age, Yamal has established himself as an undisputed starter in coach Xavi Hernandez‘s lineup.

Speaking ahead of the tie, Yamal appears to be bubbling with confidence. In what will be the first Champions League quarterfinal of his career, Yamal looks rather calm. The 16-year-old was also asked to predict the score of the upcoming quarterfinal clash. He replied, “0-1 to us. Who will score? Me.” For Lamine Yamal, who’s yet to score his first Champions League goal, it would be a perfect opportunity to score his first goal.
