According to the reports Seria A giants Juventus are plotting a move for Arsenal’s midfielder Thomas Partey. The midfielder is touted to replace Paul Pogba. Pogba could be on the verge of getting sacked by Juventus in relation to breaching the anti-doping rules after a failed drug test.
The reports suggest that the Seria A club could end the contract with Paul Pogba. Meanwhile, these rumors of the club being linked with Thomas Partey, have only cemented the whole situation concerning his future. But it will be tough to predict whether the Premier League title contenders Arsenal would let Partey go to Juventus.

Paul joined Juventus in July 2022, with his current contract with the club running till June 2026. In his hundred and ninety appearances for the Seria A club, the midfielder has 41 assists and thirty-four goals to his name. Out of these appearances for the club, 32 have come in the UEFA Champions League.
On the other hand, Partey joined Arsenal in the latter half of the year 2020. His contract at the club expires in June 2025. In his hundred and three matches for the club, the player has four assists and five goals in his tally. The 30-year-old was an integral part of Arsenal’s midfield during the 2022/2023 season when they finished second in the league.
The Arsenal midfielder has ten SCA (Short creating actions) in the first three matches of the Premier League 2023-2024 season. France International Pogba had two SCAs in his first two matches of the Seria A this season. The Arsenal midfielder can provide Juventus’ manager Massimiliano Allegri a bit of dynamism in the midfield. He can play in front of the two center halves and can also sometimes play a little higher up the pitch.
Paul Pogba hints at nutritional supplements as the reason for his positive drug test
The 30-year-old Juventus midfielder tested positive in the drug test. After the incident, the player has hinted towards taking some nutritional supplements. According to the reports, the France international stated that he was unaware of the fact that they hold testosterone.
The player further inflicted that the substance could have resulted in him being tested positive in the doping test. The reports further suggest that the number ten regrets his failure to let the doctors and his club know about the nutritional supplements.
According to the midfielder, he never intended to breach the rules, and it was a mistake. However, it remains to be seen what the player’s future at Seria A club Juventus will hold. As of now, one more test remains for him, and if found positive, he could be suspended for four to five years.
