During a recent interview with Graham Norton on his BBC talk show, Hollywood legend Julia Roberts expressed her undying love for Manchester United. She shared how her family became ardent supporters of the Red Devils and recounted memories of their visits to Old Trafford.
She went on to explain how she became an ardent Manchester United fan, stating, “I have three children and when they were really little and started playing soccer they started watching it on TV.

Roberts has been a familiar face across the Manchester United dressing room. The 56-year-old actress even brings out time to attend games for his beloved club over the years.
In November 2016, Julia had the opportunity to visit Old Trafford to see the match between United and West Ham. Additionally, she was invited as a special guest to attend the pre-season trips of United to the United States, in both 2017 and 2018. During those tours, she also attended various games.
During the pre-season tour 2023, the Hollywood superfan took a photo with United manager Erik ten Hag and star player Marcus Rashford after the team’s 2-0 victory over Arsenal at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in July.

She said, “I was sent the book by the director who told me I would love it and to read it as fast as I can, but I just couldn’t because it was scaring me and as soon as it got dark, I had to get away from it. The film is spooky and frightening but so good.”
Julia Roberts has also conveyed her enthusiasm about having former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, on board. The couple are the producers of the movie through their company, Higher Ground.
