Over the weekend in Saudi Arabia, a big clash took place between two clubs that played a huge role in the recent Saudi migration. Cristiano Ronaldo led Al Nassr Premier League-infused Al Ahli faced off in a classic encounter.
The match was an absolute thriller with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring 2 goals but hostility was on another level. After Ronaldo scored they went towards the corner flag to celebrate but the away fans started throwing all sorts of things towards the Al Nassr players. Former Porto forward Otavio even added to the banter by putting on flip-flops thrown by the opposition fans.

Fans of either side were excited to see what comes off this giant clash while one fan was very confident about his team Al Ahli taking the win and Cristiano Ronaldo not performing well. His reaction was priceless when Ronaldo scored the second goal and pulled off the famous ‘Sui’ celebration followed by a traditional Saudi dance.

The fan was left devastated as he was seen holding his head in disappointment as Cristiano Ronaldo yet again proved the haters wrong and scored. This is not the first time that the Portuguese star has stepped up in big matches and made the opposition fans silent.
What happened in the match between Al Nassr and Al Ahli
The match between the two favorites for the Saudi Pro League this season took place at the KSU Stadium. Both Al Nassr and Al Ahli invested heavily in their respective squads to bring the title to their club.
While Al Nassr has the likes of Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, and Brozovic, Al Ahli has players like Firmino, Mahrez, and Mendy. The two rivals have won the Saudi championship a combined total of 12 times.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring at only 4 minutes putting past Édouard Mendy, even though rival fans can argue that the smoke which engulfed the field surely made things a lot tougher for the Senegalese goalkeeper.
Talisca scored the second goal as Al Nassr looked to seal an easy win. Former Barca player Frank Kessie scored a goal which was immediately neutralized by another Talisca strike to make it 3-1 at the end of the first half.

There was a funny moment that took place in the match as Sadio Mane jumped on top of former Liverpool teammate Roberto Firmino after Talisca scored his second goal. Fair play to Firmino for not reacting badly as the two shared quite a great time at Liverpool.
The second half started well for Al Ahli as Riyad Mahrez scored a penalty but within a few minutes, the inevitable Cristiano Ronaldo scored the eventual winning goal taking Al Nassr to the top of the table.
Al Ahli did manage to score one more but it was too late as the match ended 4-3 at the end of 90 mins. The goal also pushed Ronaldo much further in the Golden Boot race with 9 goals to his name.
Al Nassr vs Al Ahli featured stars like Mane, Mahrez, Firmino, Brozovic, Saint-Maximin and Kessie in the XI's for their respective sides.
