Seria A giants AC Milan’s ownership structure
AC Milan is currently owned by Gerry Cardinale. The philanthropist is said to be the founder, managing partner, and CIO of the American-based investment management entity Red Bird Capital. The American company aims to build growth-bound firms in partnership.
There are no specified reports regarding Gerry Cardinale owning the club solely as of now or possessing any other partner in it. However, as per reports, the American pop singer and rapper Drake also owns a particular stake in the club. Gerry bought the club in 2022 for a sum of about $1.30 billion. Historically, in the same year, the Italian club won the Seria A title.
Adin Ross claims to have a stake in AC Milan
The American online streamer and social media icon Adin Ross has reportedly inflicted that he does hold a certain part in the ownership of AC Milan. In one of his recent online live streams, Adin pointed towards buying a certain stake in a soccer club a few years ago.

He asserted he owns “a very small percent” of a particular soccer team. However, the internet icon wasn’t able to remember the name of the club. Pressing on his point, he further stated that the stake was bought by him for a “couple hundred grand”. Later in his stream, he recalled the name of the club and referred to it as AC Milan.
AC Milan’s ownership history
In December 2019, AC Milan completed its 120 years in the top flight of Italian soccer. The club was established in the year 1899. According to the reports, in February 1986, the Seria A club was bought by the former Prime Minister of Italy, Silvio Berlusconi.
His acquiring the club at that stage reportedly saved the team’s hierarchy from a situation of bankruptcy and insolvency. Silvio also invested a major sum of monetary injections in various areas of the club to make things stand out at the soccer club again. In 2016, Chinese businessman Li Yonghong bought the club from Silvio Berlusconi.
However, Yonghong was guilty of defaulting on certain debt payments related to AC Milan a few years later. The year 2018 saw the club being taken over by the American investment entity Elliot Management. They reportedly hailed a 99.93 percent stake in Rossoneri’s. Current owner Gerry Cardinale then bought the club from the Elliot Group in 2022.
