WWE veteran Paul Heyman is arguably one of the most legendary on-screen figures in pro wrestling history. From starting his career as a photographer to becoming an all-time great manager, the 58-year-old has established an iconic legacy.
Throughout his career, the one promotion he has been associated with for the most time is WWE. But after his initial run, the two parties were at odds when Paul left the Stamford-based promotion back in 2006. After having differences for a few years, Paul finally returned in 2012, and Brock Lesnar played a major role in it.
When Brock made his comeback to the company in 2012, he wanted Heyman to be back in his corner. The reason behind it was the work they had done together in the past and also their real-life friendship. Due to the influence Lesnar had on WWE officials, they had to bring back the veteran as The Conqueror’s manager.
This decision did wonders for the returning star as well as the Stamford-based promotion. The return of Lesnar opened up great opportunities, and he became an even bigger pro wrestling star than he was during his initial years in the Triple H-led promotion.

Brock Lesnar credits Paul Heyman for his success in WWE
Many believe that Brock reaching the heights of success after his return was just meant to happen, and Heyman didn’t have a major role in it. But that’s not what The Beast agrees to, as he credits Paul immensely for his success in the WWE.
The Conqueror did this back in 2022 when he appeared for a brief chat with Daniel Cormier during WrestleMania 39 weekend. In the conversation, the WWE performer talked about how he and Wiseman started their journey decades ago and how they’re both still doing well.
Praising Paul for the kind of role he has played over the years, Brock shared how it has helped him carry himself. He said, “I broke into this business with Paul Heyman as my mouthpiece. Here I am, 23 years later, and I’m carrying my own stick. So it’s crazy how things have evolved.” (Via: Wrestling Headlines)
Moreover, the 46-year-old also praised him figure for his contribution to the pro wrestling industry. As Heyman has done a lot of work in revolutionizing the industry, Brock’s comments are true. Now that this duo no longer work together on WWE TV, will we ever get to see them work together again? Only time will tell if it’ll really become a reality or not.
