SUMMARY
- Stamp Fairtex is the first-ever three-sport World Champion in ONE Championship.
- Despite her success in kickboxing and MMA, it was Muay Thai that turned Stamp into a global superstar.
Stamp Fairtex has celebrated her fighting roots on Thailand’s National Muay Thai Day. The ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion began her career in “the art of eight limbs,” which she took up at just 5 years old to learn to defend herself from bullies.
Soon after, she would step into the ring for the first time. The 26-year-old has now amassed more than 80 fights in Muay Thai and kickboxing, during which she was a stadium champion and Northeastern Thailand Champion in her homeland. In 2018, Stamp took ONE Championship by storm and claimed the ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing World Title that same year.

The Fairtex Training Center representative then added the women’s atomweight Muay Thai strap to her collection in 2019 with a unanimous decision win over American legend Janet Todd. Last year, she then became the first athlete in history to win World Titles in three separate sports when she won the vacant ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title.
Stamp’s dedication to her adopted sport has seen her amass an impressive 11-2 record, while she has added a formidable grappling game to her arsenal with a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Stamp Fairtex wishes her followers a happy Muay Thai day
Despite her success since adding MMA to her training schedule, Stamp Fairtex has not forgotten her Muay Thai roots. The Thai megastar celebrated National Muay Thai Day by sharing an image to her Instagram story of the post-fight interview from her kickboxing win over Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak in January 2023.
“Happy Muay Thai Day,” she wrote. Thailand’s National Muay Thai Day commemorates the coronation day of King Sanphet VIII, also known as the Tiger King, in 1702. King Sanphet VIII was also a skilled Muay Thai practitioner, and it was under his reign that the sport became a part of Thailand’s national identity.
National Muay Thai day is celebrated on February 6 with a grand festival organized by the Thai government, which features traditional wai kru dance demonstrations among a series of ceremonies that pay homage to the Tiger King.
