International Women’s Day takes place this Friday, 8 March, and on that day ONE Championship takes to Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, to celebrate the greatest female athletes in the world with ONE Fight Night 20: Todd vs. Phetjeeja on Prime Video.
Across nine all-female contests, the world’s largest martial arts organization will showcase a plethora of MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling bouts for its global fan base to enjoy. With that said, let’s look at three fights you cannot miss at ONE Fight Night 20.
Janet Todd vs. Phetjeeja at ONE Fight Night 20
In the evening’s main event, ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet Todd attempts to unify the gold as interim titleholder and Thai phenom Phetjeeja looks to take to the throne.
For Todd, this fight is the last of her career and offers her a chance to retire as the undisputed kickboxing queen. The American has held the crown since defeating three-sport ONE World Champion Stamp Fairtex for the strap back in 2020 at ONE: KING OF THE JUNGLE.

“JT” has been a standout across her 51-fight tenure. She’s also won seven of her nine promotional outings. Given ONE Fight Night 20’s main event will be her final fight, what better way for Todd to enter retirement than stopping the momentum of the surging Phetjeeja.
“The Queen” will not fall easily, though. Phetjeeja has been dominant across five promotional outings, throttling anyone getting in her way. The Thai superstar recently dispatched kickboxing legend Anissa Meksen at ONE Friday Fights 46 to claim the interim crown.
Even ONE Atomweight MMA World Champion Stamp Fairtex – who fought Todd twice – believes her Thai compatriot will be too much for the American.
“I think Phetjeeja is going to win by decision. I don’t think this fight will end with a KO because Janet Todd has a strict guard, she can defend herself really well,” Stamp said.
And at only 22 years old, Phetjeeja aims to take to the throne in her biggest bout yet.
Allycia Hellen Rodrigues vs. Cristina Morales
The co-main event also sees ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues make the second defense of her World Title against the ultimate underdog in Cristina Morales.
Rodrigues has set herself apart from the rest since arriving in ONE’s atomweight Muay Thai realm. The Brazilian claimed the crown in her first promotional outing in 2020 against Stamp in the megastar’s own backyard.
Since then, the stoic striker toppled Todd in March 2023 at ONE Fight Night 8 to establish herself as a true striking standout. And while her chance at greatness against ONE strawweight Muay Thai queen Smilla Sundell didn’t go as planned, she’ll look to remind those in her own weight bracket why she is the top dog.

But Morales will certainly be out to change the trajectory of the atomweight Muay Thai realm. After a rocky start in ONE, the Spaniard triumphantly returned to winning ways against Anna Jaroonsak last November at ONE Fight Night 16.
Morales dispatched “Supergirl” with a first-round knockout. In doing so, she caught the attention of the Brazilian queen. If she delivers the same intensity this Friday, she could find herself laced with gold.
Jackie Buntan vs. Martine Michieletto
Former ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Jackie Buntan is on a redemption mission to the top of the division. And with back-to-back victories, a third consecutive win against Martine Michieletto could see her get a second shot at gold.
Buntan has also been known for her punching power, and she’s shown that in her last two victories. The American striker put on a clinic against old foe Amber Kitchen in December 2022, toppling the Brit with a unanimous decision win.

From there, Buntan kept her momentum rolling to knock out Diandra Martin on home soil at ONE Fight Night 10 in May 2023 when ONE ventured to the U.S. for the very first time. The quest for gold keeps Buntan motivated, but she’ll have her work cut out against Michieletto.
The Italian star arrived in the promotion last June at ONE Fight Night 11. She also dispatched British star Kitchen by unanimous decision, showing that she has the striking skills necessary to hang with the best.
Michieletto suppressed her jitters and attained her first goal. And if she’s able to extend her winning streak in ONE to two on the bounce, she’ll have a chance to vouch for gold and shake up the division’s infrastructure at the same time.
