The full card for ONE 167 on Prime Video has been revealed, and an absolute banger was added to the bill.
ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai will put his 26-pound gold belt on the line in the June 7 headliner at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
His challenger comes in the form of “Smokin” Jo Nattawut, the man who pushed his fellow-Thai star all the way when the pair faced off under kickboxing rules in one of the craziest fights of 2023.
Now, ONE Championship has rolled out the complete fight card on its Instagram page. “ONE 167 on Prime Video is coming to you live in U.S. primetime on June 7, featuring a World Title showdown between Tawanchai and Jo Nattawut, the return of Rodtang, Kade Ruotolo’s highly anticipated MMA debut, Mikey Musumeci’s quest for revenge against Gabriel Sousa, and MORE,” the caption read.
The 11-fight card features four current World Champions, and proceedings are set to kick off with a bang after a new fight was revealed.
Johan Estupinan faces Zafer Sayik In ONE 167 opener
Colombian rising star Johan Estupinan made a jaw-dropping ONE debut this past weekend, and he’s wasting no time to keep the ball rolling against Zafer Sayik at ONE 167 on Prime Video. The pair will face off in a bantamweight Muay Thai contest that promises fireworks.
“Panda Kick” needed just 27 seconds to demolish Kouta Omori with a head kick and follow up punches at ONE Friday Fights 64. The 21-year-old is undefeated in 23 professional fights so far and he could be the most promising prospect to emerge from the burgeoning South American Muay Thai scene yet.
But Turkey’s Sayik is another youngster with a point to prove. The 25-year-old made his promotional debut at ONE 166: Qatar this past March and gave long-time contender Vladimir Kuzmin all that he could handle for the full three rounds.
Sayik will be desperate to score his maiden ONE victory and kick off his own run toward bantamweight Muay Thai gold at the expense of Estupinan.
