The Colorado Buffaloes must be celebrating their recent win against the Colorado State Rams. The team thrashed the Rams by 43-35 as Shedeur Sanders shone in the game. There were several highlights of the game, one of the bad ones being the injury of cornerback Travis Hunter. The Buffaloes’ win must be feeling incomplete as they lost Hunter to the injury.
During the first quarter of the game, Travis Hunter got a really tough hit from Rams safety Henry Blackburn. The star cornerback fell to the ground before the trainers got him out of the field. The referees penalized Blackburn for playing too rough. After the hit, Hunter took a break but later came back to play in the second quarter. He even made a tackle during that time, but after that, he had to leave the game for good.

During the postman press conference, Coach Deion Sanders addressed the injury of Hunter. He made it clear that the young talent would be “out for a few weeks”. The NFL legend made it clear that the cornerback’s “health is more important” to them. It’s worth noting that Travis Hunter went to a hospital during the 3rd quarter.
“The first thing I heard is that he would be out for a few weeks… I heard that for sure. But we will do what we must to take care of him. I know Travis probably will want to be out for two weeks. But we got to make sure he is OK. His health is more important than this game,” Sanders said.
However, the former Baltimore Ravens star didn’t reveal anything about the kind of injury Hunter sustained. However, the Buffaloes fans must be praying for him to return to the field soon.
