Legendary NFL figure Tom Brady is one of the first names that comes to mind, when we start a discussion about the league. This 6-foot-4 player had a career spanning over two decades, and that’s the reason why a lot of people consider him the Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T.).
Within his 23 years as a player, Tom won seven Super Bowls as he outperformed all NFL franchises before retiring in 2022. Due to such accomplishments, many regard the 46-year-old as the greatest ever to grace the sport, but a WWE star has a different take on this GOAT debate.
Famous Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny, who had also performed for the Triple H-led promotion, has taken a bold stance on this debate, and it has created a buzz. The 29-year-old shared who he considers the Greatest of All Time, in his new song, “Vuelve Candy B.”

In this song, the King of Latin Trap says that Tom Brady is no longer the G.O.A.T. in America, as Lionel Messi is now there. He said, “Desde que Messi (Messi), está en la USA. To’ el mundo sabe quién es la cabra? Ya no es Tom Brady, ey.” This translates to, “Since Messi is in the USA, everyone knows who the G.O.A.T. is. It’s no longer Tom Brady.” (Via: Pinkvilla)
It must be noted that this song has been released as a part of Bad Bunny’s latest album. The album is titled “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” translates to “Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow,” and has 22 songs in it. But the song in which he talked about Messi and Brady has created a big controversy.
Targeting Tom Brady isn’t the only time Bad Bunny showed his love for Lionel Messi
As the Puerto Rican star referred to Messi as the GOAT by taking a dig at Tom Brady, a lot of people wondered if he did it to show his love for the player. But targeting the NFL legend in this song isn’t the only time Bad Bunny showed his love for Lionel Messi, as he did in different manners through his latest album.
Out of the 22 songs the WWE megastar released in his album, five songs have mentions to the Argentinian legend. The songs that have lyrics referring to the World Cup-winning athlete are “Monaco,” “Teléfono Nuevo,” “Thunder y Lightning,” “Acho PR,” and “Vuelve Candy B.”
As Bunny has talked about his love for the former FC Barcelona soccer player in five songs, it shows how much love he has for Messi. Not just Bunny, it seems that Lionel also has a special place in his heart for the WWE star, as he was once spotted at Bunny’s Gekko restaurant in Miami with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo.
