The NFL witnessed greatness this year when superstar quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes faced off in the Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs ultimately took the win in what was a chaotic game, to say the least. However, the Philadelphia Eagles star has now taken a huge W, one that is worth hundreds of millions.
Hurts has now signed a new 5-year contract extension with the Eagles. The new deal is worth a whopping $255 million and Hurts is guaranteed at least $179 million. If that wasn’t enough, the Eagles and Hurts have agreed to include a no-trade clause in the deal as well. This makes the QB the highest-paid NFL player of all time.

As per multiple reports, Jalen Hurts would be earning around $51 million per year. Aaron Rodgers held the top spot since March 2022, he has been earning $50.2 million. It certainly looks like it is Hurts’ time to shine now.
Since the Eagles QB has displayed his aversion toward spending huge chunks of money before, it would be safe to claim that he might be scratching his head after signing his latest deal. Fortunately for him, his girlfriend, Bryonna Burrows, is a business tycoon and could well be his savior.
What does Jalen Hurts’ girlfriend Bryonna Burrows do for a living?
Jalen met Bryonna Burrows when he was studying at the University of Alabama. He was on the football team from 2016 until 2018. For those who wonder why Jalen only spent three years in Alabama, he transferred to the University of Oklahoma to spend his senior year in Parrington Oval. As for Bryonna, she stayed in Alabama and graduated in 2017, as her LinkedIn profile suggests.
Bryonna holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Spanish & political science, and also an MBA. She received the prestigious honor after completing her education in Alabama as well. It sure looks like her wish was to stay home and contribute to the development of the University of Alabama. Her role as the Graduate Assistant in Alabama should speak at length about her goals at the time.

In 2019, Bryonna joined the American multinational company, IBM. She served as the Financial Sales Executive from December 2019 until January 2021. Her progress will be an inspiration to the up-and-coming young minds. Bryonna is now an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Partner at IBM and managed to reach this height after working as a Software Financing Leader for one year.
Burrows also created the Manderson Social when she was the MBA Association’s Vice President at the University of Alabama. The Manderson Social aims to help students identify and engage effectively in their talents. Burrows’ impact on the university is a clear indication of her talent.

Jalen has admitted to being stingy with his money in the past. An example of that would be when he told GQ a story about his spending habits.
The former Pro Bowl winner said that he did not wish to spend a huge amount of money on his favorite cologne, the Lafayette Street Bond No. 9, which is worth $450, according to the official website. He mentioned that the price put him off so much that he decided to buy the cologne in small bottles to save money.
Now that he signed a record-breaking contract with the Eagles, he might have a headache about spending money. However, with a business mogul by his side in Bryonna, Jalen might just have it easy to invest and save his money in the smartest way.
