The fairytale romance of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is all that people have been talking about recently. It all started when NFL star Travis Kelce went on Swift’s Era tour earlier this year. Later, he talked about how much he wanted to meet her but couldn’t.
The same Eras Tour, which was known to be the biggest event for Swifties all around the world. It is soon to be released at the box office in the form of a concert film. The interesting part is that the concert film hasn’t even been released yet and has already topped box-office records worldwide.
Cinemark, a theater chain with over 500 locations, claimed that the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour ticket sale is setting a record for the domestic presale. And they are totally blown away by it. The demand has risen 10 times higher than any other event film in history.
Up until now, Justin Bieber’s concert film ranked as the highest grossing with $73 million. But Taylor Swift’s upcoming movie will break it in the first weekend itself with $125 million.
In addition to this, AMC Theaters also announced that the ticket sale for Swift’s film has “shattered records for single-day advance ticket sales revenue.” On August 31, the first day of the presale, they sold tickets worth a total of $26 million. In the opening weekend, IMAX and other standard version theaters are expected to sell tickets worth $100 – $125 million.
The 3-hour-long concert film is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 13, 2023. In fact, an ad for Swift’s upcoming film was aired during NBC’s football match last weekend. The same way Taylor Swift was spotted cheering for her rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce while sitting next to his mother.

During an episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Travis announced that he invited Taylor to his game, saying, “I threw it out there; I threw the ball in her court and y’know, I told her..’I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.’ So we’ll see what happens in the near future”.
It turns out Taylor accepted his invitation and was spotted sitting in the VIP box at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, next to Kelce’s mother. The two were seen cheering and laughing together and supporting the Chiefs.
