The New England Patriots have been going through a rough patch this season. Ever since the regular season began, the team has won just one game. Now, after the recent loss to the Dallas Cowboys, the team is 1-3 this season. After the Patriots’ shameful loss to the Cowboys, the team’s former quarterback Tom Brady broke his silence.

On September 02, the Patriots and the Cowboys locked horns at the AT&T Stadium. However, it was the Cowboys who turned out victorious after thrashing the Patriots by 38-3. 30-year-old QB Dak Prescott led the Cowboys to the victory as he got 1 touchdown for 261 yards. The Patriots’ QB Mac Jones, on the other hand, disappointed fans with 2 interceptions for 150 yards.

As the game was over, NFL legend Tom Brady shared his views on losing a game. Born in August 1977, the QB talked about losses on his podcast ‘Let’s Go’. He didn’t directly connect it with his former team’s loss, but talked about how “losing in the NFL’s tough”. 46-year-old Brady mentioned how it’s difficult for the teams as they prepare the whole week for the games.

“It’s tough. I mean, losing in the NFL’s tough… For me watching a lot of football, every loss hurts. And believe me, if you’re part of a loss you don’t care about anyone else’s losses. You just care about your loss… It’s tough because you spent all week preparing and it didn’t go the way you wanted,” he said.

The 6-foot-4 tall NFL star referred to football as a tough sport. Tom Brady mentioned how he used to impact the game greatly earlier. However, now he doesn’t have that impact anymore. From what he said, it’s obvious that Brady is observing every single game after retirement.

Tom Brady led the New England Patriots to great achievements

The New England Patriots hold a special meaning for Tom Brady as he began his career with them. The team selected the star QB as their 199th pick in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL draft. Though he didn’t get much action in the first season, Brady’s fate changed after the Tuck Rule game. The Patriots made him their starting QB and the rest is history.

Born in California, Tom Brady made sure that the Patriots had their best seasons with him. The star player led the team to 6 Super Bowl victories. The Patriots have a spectacular 136-39 record with the 5-time Super Bowl MVP. Without him, even coach Bill Belichick couldn’t lead the team to the winning track and has an awful 51-65 record.

Throughout his 20 years with the team, Tom Brady gave his best to the team. Considering his valuable contribution, the Patriots announced him as their Hall of Fame inductee for next year. The 15-time Pro Bowl made sure that his team reached all the great heights with him. However, the Patriots have been suffering ever since he left them. Now, it’ll be interesting to see whether the team can perform well and return to the winning track or not.
