- NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers accused Jimmy Kimmel of being involved with Jeffrey Epstein.
- Kimmel thrashed the NFL star for endangering his family.
Aaron Rodgers has had quite the start to his career with the New York Jets. During his debut game, the quarterback ended up rupturing his left Achilles which removed him out of the roster as fast as he came in. After attempting to recover quickly while the Jets entered desperation mode, Rodgers decided that it was best to lay it off for this season and come back fresh next year. But that hasn’t stopped him from stirring up some drama.
Recently, the world went frantic over a couple of Jeffrey Epstein documents that were released. These documents held the names of people who associated themselves with Epstein and his criminal activities. The NFL superstar accused late-night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel of being involved with Epstein. On the other hand, Kimmel stated that he did not know or associate himself with the deceased convict.
These accusations took the world by storm and NBA legend, Charles Barkley recently gave his take on it. He said, “I’d have punched him in the face. You know what the hell ‘punch him in the face’ means. I think when you’re in the limelight, people get to say things about you that go with the territory. But when you start comparing people, saying you’ve been hanging out with pedophiles, people having s*x with underage girls. That’s dangerous to me.”
Barkley had a valid point about people spewing out false rumors without knowing the actual truth. Kimmel also went on the threaten to sue Aaron Rodgers for endangering his family with the false claims.
Charles Barkley once featured on Jimmy Kimmel’s show
If there is anybody Jimmy Kimmel is well associated with, it is NBA legends like Charles Barkley himself. The NBA Hall of Famer once made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He spoke about his yearly rituals during the NFL’s Super Bowl. In 2023, Barkley revealed that he travels to Las Vegas every year with some of his friends and partakes in some weekend activities.
Barkley claimed that the Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles wasn’t a good time for him. The former MVP happens to be a major Eagles fan as he also started off his career in Philadelphia for the 76ers team in the NBA. In an unfortunate turn of events for Barkley, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes ended up leading the Chiefs to a victory.
The former 76ers forward revealed that he got a little carried away from betting on the Eagles to win. Charles Barkley claimed that his lucky stride was on a roll during the Super Bowl weekend and he kept winning at the gambling stations. However, he ended up losing a lot of money by the end of Super Bowl weekend. Rumors claim that he may have lost around $100,000.
