The most speculated and controversial figure in the United States, Antonio Brown, is again making headlines for what he had done in the past. Brown has been linked to multiple unethical acts and faced tremendous criticism throughout his life. The former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver was quite a brilliant player during his time.
Beginning his professional football career with the Steelers, Brown became one of the best players in the league. In addition to playing for the Steelers, Brown wore the jerseys of the Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The prolific wide receiver won the Super Bowl, appeared in the Pro Bowl seven times, and became the NFL receptions leader twice, the NFL receiving yards leader twice, and the NFL receiving touchdowns leader once. Brown earned some honors besides his name for his excellent performance. Eventually, his off-the-field activities always caused controversy.
What did Antonio Brown want to indicate by his new post?
The Super Bowl LV champion can’t keep himself away from unwanted speculation and criticism. In an X post, John Rich said, “Alright, I’m ready to admit AB is 100% not making these tweets. I wanted to believe it was him. It’s unequivocally not.”
In contrast to that, Brown wrote on X, “You really think I’m paying someone,” with a happy devil emoji. Since his quotes, questions began rising in the minds of fans about what the 35-year-old was trying to indicate from the quotes and what Rich was even trying to say. Again, Rich shared a post: “In case anybody thought @AB84 was tweeting for himself, this response should put that idea to rest.”
Jokes on you. I don’t pay anyone, literally #CTESPN https://t.co/aw5DKBfSPa

Brown, in response, wrote, “Jokes on you. I don’t pay anyone, literally.” Watching the conversation between the two, everyone thought about Brown being linked to missed child support payments. Therefore, maybe the former wideout is hinting towards that, but as always, the actual meaning of the statement is only known to him.
Antonio Brown was arrested after failing to pay child support
Last year, on October 16, the wide receiver was arrested in Florida after failing to pay for child support. Brown was arrested after being accused of failing to pay $15,000 as child support for his 15-year-old daughter with Wiltrice Jackson.
Jackson also alleged Brown initially failed to pay approximately $31,000 for the same. However, later, the wide receiver was released on a bond of $15,000, and on social media, Brown posted “F*ck Child Support” in disgrace after the incident on October 19, 2023.
