The Bills’ defensive tackle also wore the Carolina Panthers’ jersey in 2021 before making his move to the Bills. Jones played for Johnson City Senior High School in the early days and then moved to Pennsylvania State University.

DaQuan Jones signed a two-year contract extension with the Bills. At the end of last season, his contract with them expired. However, the Bills were initially expected not to want to lose their heart of defense soon.
The Bills have made significant changes in their defensive department and released players like Jordan Poyer, Mitch Morse, Siran Neal, Deonte Harty, and Nyheim Hines. However, they retained their 32-year-old defensive tackle by offering a $16 million contract, which included a $10.5 million guarantee.

Jones shared the exciting news via a post on X with just two words: “WE BACK!!!!!” Jones & Co. went to the divisional round stage of the league last term but were handed a short defeat by the Chiefs to end their dream of winning the Super Bowl for the first time ever. From the beginning of the new seasons, Jones and Bills will aim for a strong start and to wear the Super Bowl crown.

Since joining the league in 2014 with the Titans, Jones has become a terror for opponents’ offensive line. Despite not winning the Super Bowl, the defensive player didn’t appear to upset the fans with his performance.
During the past two regular seasons with the Bills, Jones participated in 23 fixtures. He performed 54 tackles, 30 solo tackles, assisted 24 tackles, and 4.5 sacks. Looking at his career stats, it is evident that Jones is just a beast. And in the postseason with the franchise Jones played 3 games and managed 4 tackles.

Jones’ 2023-24 season was cut short due to a pectoral injury against Jacksonville Jaguars in week 5. Although he managed to return to the field against Steelers in the Wild Card round.
Throughout his career, the defensive tackle made 139 fixtures in the regular season, 327 total tackles out of 185 solo tackles, and assisted 142 tackles. Besides that, he also recorded 14.5 sacks and three force fumbles. Till now Jones has participated in seven postseason fixtures and performed 13 total tackles, 4 solo tackles, and 9 tackles assisted.
