The recent WWE and UFC merger has initiated waves of fear in the hearts of the WWE Universe. While everyone expected a grand collaboration between the two promotions, nothing of that sort happened. The first heartbreak that came for the fans was the release of many top stars from the company, including Dolph Ziggler and Matt Riddle.
Looking at this, fans have realized that this is not all. There are other top stars from the company whose professional wrestling careers are in jeopardy. WrestleTalk highlighted the issue in their recent YouTube video, leaving fans worried about their favorite star’s future.
The first star whose contract is nearing its end by 2023 is Alexa Bliss. She is followed by Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Ricochet and Jinder Mahal, whose contracts terminate by mid-2024. By the end of next year, The New Day, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton will lose their run with WWE if their contracts are not renewed.

LA Knight, The Miz and Dragon Lee still have over a year before their contracts terminate in 2025. It is indeed a gamble to risk their career as they walk into the final few months of their WWE run. If things do not fall in their favor, it would be quite heartbreaking for the fans and the stars.
Will WWE renew the contracts of its top stars?
The news of contract expiration has brought shock waves amongst the fans. While it seems highly impractical to let go of all the top stars of the company, the Endeavour deal has prepared the fans for anything that comes their way. Fightful Select has provided inside news about the idea of contract renewal.

It was reported that the upcoming renewal process may vary from what it used to be in the past. The stars would also look forward to at least equal pay, if not higher. With this being said, AEW will be all eyes and ears to grab the top stars with higher pay and other lucrative offers. It would be very interesting to note how things go for the two promotions.

As per the latest updates, the only stars who are in talks for their contracts are Drew McIntyre and LA Knight. While there have been murmurs about the contracts getting renewed, things seem to be quite normal on the surface. With Triple H now leading the division, the stars are happy to work for WWE. As a result, they would look out for opportunities to renew their contracts.
