SUMMARY
- In a major development, WWE has achieved a major milestone on their YouTube channel.
- The Stamford-based promotion recently crossed 100 million YouTube subscribers, and it's just insane.
WWE is often said to be the greatest promotion in the history of pro wrestling, and the company often pulls off impressive accolades to prove it. From historic attendances to crazy social media numbers and the presence of global superstars in the organization, the company frequently shows why it is probably the best in the business.
In a similar fashion, the Stamford-based promotion has achieved a major milestone on their YouTube channel. The company has officially crossed 100 million subscribers on the video streaming platform, and it is the biggest achievement for them in recent memory.

What makes this whole thing even bigger is that the organization has more than double as many subscribers as the NFL, NBA, and MLB combined. In fact, WWE’s channel is among the top ten channels across all categories on the platform. This shows the kind of influence the Triple H-led promotion has made through their video content, and continues to do so through their videos on YouTube.
Fans react to WWE’s historic milestone
As soon as the pro wrestling world took note of the historic milestone, fans started sharing their responses to the feat. Referring to the WWE as the best promotion in the industry, an audience member wrote, “Greatest wrestling company in the world and of all time.” (Via: X)
Taking a dig at All Elite Wrestling after this massive achievement of the Triple H-led promotion, someone from the fans community said, “”Something AEW can only ever dream of.” “No 1 wrestling brand,” another pro wrestling enthusiast commented while praising the company.
WWE recently signed a $5 billion deal with Netflix
While fans have been congratulating WWE for their subscription milestone on YouTube, it seems that the company is going to achieve such accolades quite often. The reason behind this is that the Triple H-led promotion has recently signed a $5 billion deal with Netflix.
In arguably the biggest thing to happen in the industry this year, as of now, the organization announced in January 2024 that they’d reached a historic deal with the platform. As a part of this agreement, Netflix US will be the exclusive home for Monday Night RAW starting in January 2025. Additionally, it will also become the home for all major events as a part of the istoric deal between these companies.

In addition to the RAW agreement, the Stamford-based promotion has also signed an exclusive deal with X, formerly known as Twitter. According to the deal, which was made official in February, the Elon Musk-owned social platform has signed a two-year deal with the WWE. As a part of this, there will be a exclusive weekly video series called WWE Speed.
This new format will reportedly feature timed matches meant to be completed in five minutes or less, which is pretty interesting. With the company signing deals with industry giants, it’s evident that the Triple H-led promotion is highly invested in getting more eyeballs to their product. But will WWE be successful in fulfilling their objective? We’ll probably find out all the answers in the near future.
