As soon as the match was announced, the women started to come out, and they all looked different. The reason was that they were not wearing their usual in-ring gear and were fully covered.

Several fans took to their ‘X’ handles to comment on the gear worn by the superstars. Many fans raised questions about the in-ring attire worn by the women. While some of them expressed their disgust at the fact, With that, one fan wrote, “Every damn crown jewel show the women gotta completely cover up”.
Thus, it seems WWE has faced backlash after popular female WWE superstars such as Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, and others ditched their usual in-ring attire to become a part of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Jewel event.
Rhea Ripley retains the Women’s World Champion in the Fatal Five Way match
A top-notch Fatal Five-way match took place at the Crown Jewel 2023 PPV event. The match took place between Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, and Zoey Stark. It was contested for the prestigious Women’s World Championship.
As soon as the match was announced, all the women came one by one into the ring. However, Rhea Ripley’s entrance was a special one, and the match began with Ripley taking control over Jax. Soon, Baszler came into the scenario and locked a double ankle lock on Ripley and Rodriguez.

Moving ahead, Raquel and Rhea began taking each other down. However, soon they shifted their focus, and Raquel nailed the Tejana Bomb on Jax. While Ripley delivered the Riptide to Shayna. Finally, Ripley nailed a Riptide on Stark, crashing into Raquel and Shayna. With that, Rhea covered Shayna for the win.
Thus, Rhea Ripley won the fatal five-way match and is still the Women’s World Champion in WWE. Now that The Eradicator has grabbed the win, it remains to be seen what lies ahead in the upcoming days. However, with her latest bout, she thoroughly entertained the fans.
