Conor McGregor has given his predictions for UFC 298, and it’s safe to say they are quite poetic. The Notorious laid out the perfect script for UFC 298 as he revealed his take on all the fights on the main card.
Alexander Volkanovski vs Ilia Topuria will headline this weekend’s UFC PPV in Anaheim, California. In the co-main event, Robert Whittaker and Paulo Costa will finally come face-to-face in a three-round fight.
McGregor predicts Alexander Volkanovski will make history at UFC 298
Alexander Volkanovski has a lot at stake heading into his sixth title defence. He is not only fighting the UFC 5 cover curse or the over-35 curse; the Australian fighter is going to step inside the Octagon on the back of a devastating KO loss against Islam Makhachev.

According to Conor McGregor, Alexander Volkanovski KOs Ilia Topuria in the later rounds at UFC 298. Taking to X, McGregor shared, “Volk will get hurt early but come back and KO Illia. Over in 2 rounds.”
As for the co-main event, the Notorious expects a slugfest between the middleweights and predicts Merab Dvalishvili vs Henry Cejudo to go the distance.
Conor McGregor expects Ian Garry to dominate Geoff Neal
Despite the criticism surrounding Ian Garry and his antics outside the Octagon, it did not deter McGregor from expressing his support for Ian Garry ahead of UFC 298.
The Irishman remains undefeated inside the cage with a perfect 13-0 record. He will look to extend his winning streak as he takes on #8 ranked Geoff Neal this weekend.
Awesome night of @ufc fights tonight! Garry is going to run thru Geoff in the first round. Volk will get hurt early but come back and KO illia. Over in 2 rounds. Costa and Whittaker will have a good 3 round exchange as will Merab and Henry. Have a good evening everyone and…
