Nothing against Ian Garry or vegans btw I just don’t think his nutritionist knows what he’s doing ^^ maybe he’s like a good nutritionist for the average person but definitely not for professional fighters

Be that as it may, it’s hard to overlook Ian Garry’s physical transformation. Garry is a lot more leaner now than he used to look, and while that can hint towards a good weight cut and physique, one wonders how much of an impact it will have on his striking and power inside the Octagon.
Ian Garry reveals why he switched to a vegan diet
As for Ian Garry, the Irishman has never felt healthier and all credit to his plant-based diet. He intends to remain a vegan for the rest of his life and calls turning vegan one of the “best and biggest decisions” he has ever made. Garry spoke about its many advantages in an appearance on the Happy Pear Podcast.
“It’s improved my life, my health. The performance is just a benefit.” Garry said. “The initial start of making the change to whatever diet I was on to going plant-based was specifically around health,” Garry said, confirming it wasn’t his Nutritionist Richard Cullen’s idea alone to turn to plant-based diet.
