WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has a bold prediction ahead of his fight against Francis Ngannou. Fury is considered one of the best boxers in the heavyweight division and is the obvious favorite in his fight with Ngannou. Although the 6-foot 9-inch boxer is not taking his opponent lightly, he believes Francis won’t be able to last long.
In a recently released face-off between the two, Tyson Fury warned the Cameroonian that he wouldn’t be able to stand his power. The Gypsy King has predicted that he will knock out Francis Ngannou within six rounds to be declared the winner. Additionally, Tyson was so confident in his abilities that he broke down his exact method as well.
“I’m going to knock him out inside six rounds. I’ll get on the front foot, high arm, catch him with a punishing jab, 19/20 stone in the face. Bust him up, swell his eyes out, and bang, KO. On the front foot, not running away. These heavyweights don’t stand a chance,” said Tyson Fury.
However, the former UFC heavyweight champion simply scoffed at Fury’s claims and reminded him that he possess power as well. Ngannou warned the British pugilist to tuck his chin properly or else he was going to sleep.
With the epic boxing and MMA crossover fights getting closer every day, fight fans cannot hold back their anticipation. Both fighters are putting in maximum effort to deliver in Riyadh and make big bucks in the process. However, some have already started comparing it to YouTube boxing.
Tyson Fury is not happy with people comparing his fight with Francis Ngannou to YouTube boxing
The battle of the baddest between the former UFC heavyweight champion and the WBC heavyweight champion is scheduled to go down on October 28. Both Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury are some of the hardest hitters in the world and possess unnatural punching power. While the Cameroonian fighter poses a huge threat to the Gypsy King, not many believe in Ngannou.
Tyson Fury is a huge betting favorite going into the fight, and some have even called him out for picking an easy opponent. Several have even started calling Tyson’s fight gimmicky and comparing it to YouTube boxing. Needless to say, the 35-year-old is unhappy with the comments.
According to the Gypsy King, people forget that Francis was a UFC heavyweight champion. The Predator knocked the heads off fighters and made easy work of his opponent. Due to this, Ngannou is nowhere near a comparison with random YouTubers.
“What the f**k are you talking about? This man’s a killer. How can you compare him to someone that’s playing a computer game all day? You forget that this man is a UFC World Heavyweight Champion. People are stupid really,” said Fury.
Along with Ngannou’s combat experience, he also has boxing legend Mike Tyson training him for the fight. While this might not compare to Fury’s excellence in boxing, it does give Ngannou a fighting chance.
The Cameroonian has promised that Tyson won’t be able to walk away unscathed and put his power to good use. Do you think Francis Ngannou puts on a compelling fight against Tyson Fury? Let us know your opinions in the comments below.
