A shocking fight between Tesla and Facebook executives is the buzz of the tech and MMA worlds after Elon Musk expressed his willingness to fight. Musk recently expressed his intention to fight the Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, in a cage fight.
The respective billionaires shared a couple of posts exchanging a few words, where Musk took the first shot in response to a comment that warned him about Zuckerberg’s jiu-jitsu. Considering that, Zuckerberg does BJJ, he responded by stating that he is ever ready for a cage fight.
Dana White in his recent Instagram ‘battle’ with the fans responded to a couple of trolls that stated he was a “Sellout” for conducting a ‘Gimmick fight’ between the two billionaires. UFC President White surprised fight fans by stating that he would be ready to watch both fighters face off in the cage, and he went a step further by donning a replica promotional t-shirt for the potential fight.
Here are some of the reactions
I disagree. This is a gimmick fight because we know who’s going to win. The younger guy that’s been training in jiu-jitsu. Unless of course it’s scripted

It’s a gimmick fight. Obviously. But he’s right about everybody watching. If nothing else, Elon is turning 52 this week.

This is not a gimmick fight? This is the epitome of a gimmick fight. It is an insult to all the professional fighters.

Dana White blasted out fans on Instagram who claimed he doesn’t do ‘gimmick fights.’ He responded by saying, “This isn’t a gimmick fight.” In his statement, Dana White claimed this to be a fight between the two most powerful and richest men in the world. “The gimmick is that MMA guys go to boxing and get beaten. We’ve seen it before and we know how it ends,” he also added.
Dana White is dead serious about promoting Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk UFC fight
In an appearance with TMZ on Thursday, White claimed he “probably spent an hour-and-a-half on the phone” with two of the world’s most prominent billionaires. He also discovered that none of them were kidding about a planned cage fight sparked by a social media spat.
According to UFC president Dana White, “Both guys are absolutely dead serious.” This all started when a Twitter user jokingly asked Musk to review Zuckerberg’s Jiu-Jitsu skills, to which Musk stated, he is ready for a cage fight. (Via- MMA Junkie)
The amount of money created by a Musk vs. Zuckerberg dispute could be enormous, and White is well aware of this. When the UFC invited Conor McGregor to box Floyd Mayweather in August 2017, White got involved in one enormous money-making bout. With 4.3 million domestic sales, it was the second-best-selling pay-per-view of all time.
A conflict between Musk and Zuckerberg seemed unimaginable, but White stated that he is “taking it very seriously” after meeting with both men. White is open to filling a full card with “some really fun fights,” with Musk vs. Zuckerberg serving as the pay-per-view main event.
