Sean Strickland is the man of the hour following his monumental victory at UFC 293. Having bested Israel Adesanya in the main event, Strickland proved a lot of doubters wrong. Despite his victory, Sean was still his brutally honest, level-headed self.

Understandably, Strickland was very busy after the fight, completing his media responsibilities. Speaking to a reporter from FULL SEND MMA, Sean spoke about his victory and the experience of winning a title. Further, he was asked about the NELK BOYS, and what he felt about them after appearing on an episode of their podcast.

Surprisingly, Sean was not too keen on the podcast hosts, who are known to be close friends of Dana White. “Soft f**king weak men. Here’s the thing, I don’t say look up to me, you know I’m a white trash motherf**ker just trying to be a man every day which is very difficult”.

As it turns out, Sean has a particular dislike for Steiny. “That f**cking Steiny, that weak little motherf**ker bro, even being around him, the f**king weakness is rubbing off on me”. According to Sean, he felt as though Steiny’s weakness would “rub off on him”, and make him lose the fight.

Fortunately for the other host Kyle, Sean believes that there is still some hope left. As Strickland says, there is hope for Kyle to “become a man” and improve himself. Here, Sean even adds, “You can tell Kyle wants to be a man, Kyle wants to start dressing like a man”.

Sean Strickland was not impressed with the NELK BOYS

For those wondering, Strickland does not actually hate the NELK BOYS. One of the more loud and boisterous UFC fighters, Sean has a tendency to say exactly what’s on his mind. So for the new middleweight champion to say outright that he does not like Steiny is not a big surprise.

Previously, Strickland appeared in an episode of the FULL SEND PODCAST, where he discussed numerous topics. Whilst the big talking points revolved around Sean’s upcoming fight against Israel Adesanya and Andrew Tate, the episode kicked off on a slightly different note as well. Right off the bat, Sean explained how he felt about the two hosts and revealed his assessment of them.

Prior to coming on the podcast, Sean admitted to not knowing much about the two hosts and thus, had to do his research on them. As such, Strickland decided to check out one of their more recent episodes with Dillon Danis. Having watched the episode, Sean formed his opinion of Steiny and Kyle.“You’re (Kyle) like the mature reasonable guy and you’re (Steiny) more like the weasly beta male of the group”. At the time, Steiny confessed that he was undergoing changes and looking to shift his public image.

Moreover, Sean also referred to Steiny as being “morally shady” after seeing him agree with Dillon Danis. As for Kyle, he was appreciative of the fact that the 29-year-old stood his ground and explained to Dillon why it was wrong to talk about someone’s fiancee. All things considered, Sean left things on good terms and overall had a very informative and humorous episode with the two podcasters.
