Warriors fans aren’t too happy with Klay Thompson and are using every opportunity possible to make their feelings clear. As many of us should be aware, Thompson is the second-best shooter on the Golden State Warriors and can be considered a pillar of the franchise. There is no denying that he played an instrumental role in the success that the Warriors have seen over the last decade.
However, Klay hasn’t been himself in recent times. As a result, Warriors fans decided to point out that Thompson should take a page out of Russell Westbrook’s playbook and imitate the Los Angeles Clippers star. Since both of them are very different players, let us take a closer look at this situation and find out more.

Upon hearing about this, Warriors fans quickly pointed out that Klay Thompson should pay attention and consider doing the same thing, “Take notes lil bro @Klay Thompson.”

Since both Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will not be playing in the near future, Klay has to stay on the court as a starter for the Warriors. However, the team might want to revisit this conversation after they get back their entire roster.
Will the Warriors keep Klay as a starter?
This is quite a difficult situation to view in black and white. After all, Thompson has done a lot for the team throughout his career and might be able to offer them his shooting abilities in the future. However, there is no denying that his numbers have taken a dip this season.
In the 12 games played for the Warriors this season, Thompson has averaged 13.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists. Considering that he has averaged 19.7 points a game throughout his entire career, it looks like he is not in his best condition this season.
As a result, the Golden State Warriors should keep Klay on the court for the next few games in order to decide if he will continue to be a starter for them once Stephen Curry and Draymond Green return to the court. We hope that Klay and the Warriors are able to figure out his role on the team for the upcoming NBA season.
