SUMMARY
- The Golden State Warriors enjoyed a blowout 90-125 win vs the Milwaukee Bucks recently.
- Steph Curry also contributed to the win, scoring 29 points on the night.
The Golden State Warriors have been having quite an underwhelming season this year. They have struggled to maintain consistency on the floor, which has been the biggest problem. It is no secret that The Dubs do not look like the team that won the title two years ago. But a positive for Warriors fans is that Steph Curry and Co. continue to show glimpses that they’re still far from being done.
That was the biggest takeaway from the recent Warriors vs Bucks game. The Bucks were the favorites, as predicted by many experts. The main reason for that would be how well they have been performing since the All-Star break, although Doc Rivers struggled massively in the first few weeks. Both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard played against the Warriors, although the Greek star had some troubles with an Achilles injury.
Steph Curry makes NBA history while making 29 points vs Bucks
The Chef and the Warriors came back in stunning fashion against an in-form Bucks. They managed to win the game 90-125, thanks to a 29-point game from Steph. Along with that, he also made 5 assists and 8 rebounds. It must be mentioned that Curry is now 40th in the NBA All-Time Assists leaderboard, after passing Baron Davis.

On the night, Steph shot at 10-18 FG, and 6-10 from beyond the three-point line. He proved his class in the shooting department once again with a 60.0 three-point shooting percentage. Jonathan Kuminga also impressed for the Warriors, scoring 20 points at 64.3 FG%.
Curry gets the better of Damian Lillard once again
The NBA world knows that Curry and Damian Lillard are two of the greatest shooters in NBA history. Both of these players have a knack for letting it fly from deep, and they have proved their worth with some sensational shots over their careers. But when they face each other on the court, it looks like there is a clear winner. Steph has a record of 17-8 against Dame.
The first time they faced each other was in 2013. Steph has never scored below 15 points when facing Lillard, and his career-high 62-point game came against the former Portland Trail Blazers star as well.
When playing against Steph, Lillard is averaging 26.6 points, 5.7 assists, and 2.8 rebounds in 25 games. But Steph comes out on top in this as well. The Warriors guard is averaging 31.3 points, 6.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds whenever he plays opposite Dame. The Warriors’ recent win would surely be a reality check for the Bucks, who will be looking to bounce back strong in their next game.
