As the Las Vegas Grand Prix approaches, the F1 events have taken a drastic shift. The Las Vegas race first started preparing the hotels and the track. It also added an interesting Daniel Ricciardo-based approach to the preparations. However, this Grand Prix which will return to America yet again saw a huge construction take place to get everything prepared.
However, it seems like the preparations have been taken too far. Las Vegas made its appearance in the Formula 1 sport only twice.
The Strip Circuit lies right next to the Caesars Palace Hotel and has seen Nelson Piquet win races and championships. However, it never got a permanent place in the F1 calendar until now. This season, the Las Vegas Grand Prix got its place on the calendar, and again next season.

But with the major preparations that have taken place in Las Vegas, fans have talked about how unrecognizable the city has become. However, the pictures of Las Vegas and the incredible upgrades have given them a better perspective on the race.
Formula 1’s new paddock building in Las Vegas is complete.

Until now, Las Vegas was criticized for its expensive ticket prices and hotel prices. However, the turnout of the $240 million empty lot in a permanent F1 race track in just 12 months has left people impressed. F1 Las Vegas recently posted a picture of the completed 300,000 square feet paddock on Twitter.
This left fans absolutely impressed as the building glittered with lights in the night. It was a great preview of what one can expect to see on Saturday’s race.
Fans rip off protecting screens keeping them from watching the race
As the Las Vegas Grand Prix approaches, the excitement among fans has only heightened. Many will watch Max Verstappen driving and soaring off the tracks. While Oscar Piarti will put more pressure on his teammate. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton will try his luck once again as he falls far behind Sergio Perez.
However, when F1 started their construction 12 months ago, they were smart enough to cover up the glass windows. This was done to stop fans from crowding above the track and watching the race for free. However, it was also done for safety reasons, stopping fans from dropping a phone on the track.

Nonetheless, this did not stop the fans from finding a solution. Soon, all the screens were ripped off the windows by fans as the weekend came closer. Although fans may not want to invest in getting some tickets, the excitement has stayed.
The Las Vegas race will start on a Saturday instead of a Sunday. This will be one of the first Saturday night races, leaving the opening ceremonies to start on Wednesday and Thursday.
