During All In 2023, Punk found himself in a heated backstage altercation with Jack Perry, leading AEW head Tony Khan to make the decision to part ways with the wrestler.
Since then, there has been widespread speculation about Punk potentially returning to WWE, with both superstars and fans expressing their opinions. Now, WWE CEO Nick Khan has also weighed in on the matter, offering a somewhat ambiguous perspective.

Khan addressed the much-anticipated CM Punk return. “Listen, we only have respect for Phil,” Khan told ESPN’s Marc Raimondi. “We appreciate his run here. We appreciate what he did and tried to do with the UFC”.
“Not many people can actually get in there and do what he did. So, when we have respect for Phil, we wish him nothing but the best,” Khan noted during a recent interview with ESPN.
Demonstrating his dedication as president, Khan promptly evaded the question regarding WWE’s intentions of rejoining CM Punk on the roster.
