- The Bulls were willing to trade LaVine to the Pistons.
It appears as if the plans that the Chicago Bulls had for Zach LaVine have altered course in the wake of their current situation. As many NBA fans should be aware, LaVine is the franchise star for the Bulls and has been with the team for the past 7 seasons.
Despite the fact that the Bulls made several upgrades to their roster such as the addition of DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic, the team is yet to see any real success in the postseason for all the trades that they have made over the past few seasons.
Since having LaVine on their roster didn’t appear to be going according to plan, rumors regarding his potential trade were a subject of interest and conversation among NBA fans and experts alike. However, recent events appear to have thrown a wedge in those plans. That said, a closer look at the situation is undoubtedly required.

Consdering that the Pistons are the worst team in the NBA record-wise, there is no denying that adding LaVine onto their roster might have changed their current predicament. On the other hand, the Bulls would be given two solid three-point shooters in Bojan Bogdanovic and Joe Harris.
Since this trade never materialized, it appears as if LaVine will continue to remain with the Bulls for the foreseeable future. Although there is no solid proof, fans are now making wild theories regarding LaVine’s current situation.
Fans claim LaVine got injured on purpose to prevent being sent to the Pistons
Members of the basketball community must have heard the recent news that LaVine had sustained a season-ending foot injury and could potentially even require foot surgery. His injury occurred during a recent matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors.

While this might seem far-fetched, there is no denying that LaVine’s unexpected injury has prevented the Bulls’ alleged plans to move on from him. In any case, fans are left wondering if Chicago will be able to make any moves before the trade deadline in order to salvage their season.
