Basketball great Michael Jordan loves speed. The man is literally a co-owner of a NASCAR team called the 23XI. Recently, Jordan and his wife, Yvette Prieto, attended the Daytona 500 party. Jordan and Prieto congratulated Bubba Wallace on winning his first NASCAR Cup Series title while being surrounded by photographers and reporters.
And during everything else, MJ was rocking the all-new J Balvin x Air Jordan 3s.
El Colombiano’s most recent partnership with Jordan Brand pays respect to the artist’s own country. It translates the city of Medellin’s magnificent and vivid sunsets onto the AJ3 and its color scheme. The shoe has a sail top and a co-branded design on the heel tab and midsole that has a gradient multicolor effect.
In addition to collaboration gear, the joint Air Jordan 3 will be available in complete family sizes in September.

Michael Jordan owns the NASCAR Cup Series team 23XI Racing
Jordan established 23XI Racing as a partnership with seasoned driver Denny Hamlin, holding the status of co-owner. The NBA Hall of Famer reportedly owns the bulk of the company, with Hamlin owning the remaining shares.
The benefits of having a friend like Mike are undeniable. It’s interesting to note that Denny Hamlin was among the first racers to receive support from Jordan’s well-known company, Air Jordan. The two had a terrific friendship and were well acquainted as a result. In fact, they have even been observed playing golf frequently together.
The number 23 that the Bulls star wore for most of his NBA career and Denny Hamlin’s No. 11 during his Cup career are combined to form the club’s name. Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick, Travis Pastrana, and Kamui Kobayashi are the drivers for the No. 23, 45, and 67 Toyota teams that are fielded by the organization. They presently work together on technical projects with JGR.
Over time, Jordan hopes to increase NASCAR’s diversity. The team has already achieved milestones, with Wallace being just the second black driver to triumph in the Cup Series.
