Recently, WWE made a major announcement in which they revealed that their flagship show, Monday Night RAW, will soon become a part of Netflix. Furthermore, from January 2025, Netflix will exclusively stream WWE RAW in countries such as the US, UK, Canada, and Latin America.
It has also been reported that Netflix and WWE’s deal is a $5 billion deal. Also, it has been locked for 10 years. With that, following the announcement of the deal, a video has been going viral recently. The video features Triple H back in 2015, engaged in a conversation during an interview. However, his comments from the video have caught the attention of the fans.
In the video, Triple H can be seen stating that if he was able to change anything, he’d “love it” to be for two hours. The Chief Content Officer of WWE then mentioned that the third hour of television is “so exponentially harder to write” that he can’t even explain.
Triple H said this back in 2015, and now, since WWE RAW is moving to NETFLIX, I think we might finally get rid of that third hour.#WWERaw

Meanwhile, fans are quite aware of the fact that WWE RAW is 3 hours long. However, as per the fans, now that the flagship show will soon make its move to Netflix, it might get reduced to two hours. This is as per what Triple H mentioned back then. With that, one fan captioned the video, “Triple H said this back in 2015, and now, since WWE RAW is moving to NETFLIX, I think we might finally get rid of that third hour”.
However, the deal between Netflix and WWE RAW has just been announced. As of now, nothing can be concretely stated. But it remains to be seen if the assumptions of the fans will indeed come true. Also, if ‘The Game’ will indeed be successful in getting rid of the third hour of Monday Night RAW.
Seth Rollins holds the same opinion as Triple H
Triple H previously stated that he is not a fan of the third hour of television. Meanwhile, it seems WWE Superstar Seth Rollins also holds the same opinion as ‘The Game’. Earlier, in an interview with SI Media Podcast, The Visionary said, “I think a three-hour show is just obnoxiously long every week“.

Seth Rollins added that there are requirements to fill three hours of TV, but nothing works out. He further stated that, according to him, two hours is a “beautiful kind of number” for a wrestling show. Meanwhile, RAW will soon have a new home. With that, it remains to be seen if there will indeed be a reduction in its screen timing.
Triple H recently shared his thoughts on Monday Night RAW moving to Netflix
WWE has surprised everyone with the announcement that Monday Night RAW is making its move to the entertainment brand Netflix. While fans have expressed their thoughts on the matter, Triple H himself has also shared his views on the matter.
Recently, ‘The Game’ took to his X handle to state that the partnership between WWE and Netflix will break “new ground.” He also added that the deal will take the Stamford-based promotion to “new heights“. He then stated that they are thrilled to “bring #WWERaw to @Netflix, coming January 2025″.
