SUMMARY
- Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have been struggling this season.
- Senior media member Anthony Slater reveals that the Warriors are looking to acquire LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
Recent reports reveal that the Golden State Warriors plan to make big moves this NBA offseason. As most fans should know by now, the Warriors are considered one of the most successful basketball dynasties in the modern generation and managed to win 4 NBA championships within a span of 8 years.
The team made several changes to their upper management and roster heading into this season. However, those changes didn’t go as well as expected considering that GSW now holds a record of 26 wins and 27 losses, giving them the 9th spot in the Western Conference.
If this season does not take a dramatic change for the better, the Warriors have high hopes to land some major superstars in their offseason. That said, a closer look at their current situation is certainly required.
GSW is eyeing LeBron James and Kevin Durant this offseason
Out of all the players in the league that the Golden State Warriors could acquire, adding LeBron James to their roster could be a move that dramatically changes the current predicament that the Warriors are facing. While it would be quite unlikely for LeBron to join a team that he has faced and lost to in the NBA Finals, he has always spoken very highly of Stephen Curry.
“If [LeBron James] has wandering eyes in the summer, or if Kevin Durant does or if Paul George is going to be a free agent at this point… the #Warriors will be in on that conversation.”@anthonyVslater on the Dubs potentially bringing in another star (@MorningRoast957)

A leading reporter for the Warriors named Anthony Slater recently got on X and revealed that the acquisition of LeBron James or Kevin Durant wasn’t out of the question for the Warriors.
“If [LeBron James] has wandering eyes in the summer, or if Kevin Durant does, or if Paul George is going to be a free agent at this point… the #Warriors will be in on that conversation.”
While LeBron or Paul George playing alongside Steph Curry for the Warriors shouldn’t be missed, fans chose to point out that KD rejoining his former team is out of the question.
Fans believe Kevin Durant will not return to the Warriors due to Draymond Green
Although no one can completely dismiss the possibility of LeBron or Paul George joining the Warriors in the future, the same cannot be said about Kevin Durant. After all, KD already spent a part of his career with GSW and even won 2 NBA championships. Upon hearing this report, fans concluded that Durant joining the Warriors is least likely.

Moreover, KD’s current relationship with Draymond Green is not the best. They have been taking constant and subtle shots at each other over the years. In fact, one could argue that Draymond played a pivotal role in Durant leaving the Warriors. In any case, fans are left wondering if there is any truth to these reports.
