Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James continues to go beyond expectations. He sets a new record for the fastest 30-point game in the Los Angeles Lakers history. In a 133-89 win over the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA In-Season Tournament semi-finals, James showed his outstanding skills, even being in his 21st season in the league.
James finished the game with 30 points, which he made with an impressive 9/12 shooting from the field, a perfect 4/4 from the three-point line, and 8/8 from the free-throw line. James also registered 5 rebounds and 8 assists in just 23 minutes on the court.

With this historic achievement, the Lakers now advance to the In-Season Tournament final against the Indiana Pacers which is scheduled for Saturday. So far this season, James has maintained averages of 25.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game.
LeBron James’ master class performance made Skip Bayless jealous
LeBron James’ latest class performance has sparked the ongoing debate between him and Michael Jordan. Skip Bayless is well-known for his negative stance on James and has been a strong supporter of Jordan’s dominance in the basketball world. Despite James’s undeniable prowess on the court, Bayless continues to find ways to criticize his achievements.
In the semi-final match against the Pelicans, James scored 21 points in the first half alone, which included guarding Zion Williamson and two three-pointers. As James approaches his 39th birthday, his ability to perform at such a high level is very inspiring.
But of course, LeBron will never pile up enough career accolades to catch Jordan’s 6-0 Finals record with 6 Finals MVPs … not to mention Jordan’s 10 scoring titles to LeBron’s 1 … & Jordan’s DPOY to LBJ’s 0 … & LBJ’s 6 Finals losses (including 2011 meltdown) to MJ’s 0 …

Skip Bayless sarcastically praises LeBron James for keeping his team together to win a championship in the NBA Bubble, which he mocks as not very valuable. He also makes fun of LeBron’s recent win in a new tournament, calling it a little achievement.
I give LeBron this: He did keep his team together long enough to outlast everyone and win a Bubble Championship that deserved a cubic zirconia ring, and now he has won a cute little gimmicky November/December tournament in its first year. Impressive.

In his career of over two decades, Bayless has always set a negative view of James’s successes, often labeling him as not being clutch. There were moments where Bayless seemed to soften his stance, such as praising James’s 43-point game against the Hornets but his recent comments suggest a return to his usual criticism.
LeBron James on the other hand has never publicly responded to Bayless’ comments, preferring to focus on his game and pushing the boundaries. His latest record-setting performance is just another story in his already successful career.
