Ever since Bray Wyatt’s untimely passing last week, WWE has been honoring the former Universal Champion’s iconic legacy in different ways. At first, a tribute was paid to The Eater of Worlds on SmackDown’s August 25 episode, and the same continued on the recent RAW.
In the meantime, the Stamford-based promotion paid tribute to their late performer by sharing moments from his decade-long WWE stint. Among all videos on the internet, a special John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt video package featuring Eminem has specifically caught fans’ attention and is going viral before Cena’s return on SmackDown.
The video has been shared by an X user as a reply to Triple H’s tweet announcing Bray’s death. The package features the iconic feud between The Cenation Leader and The Wyatt Family, as clips from that rivalry have been added into the video. As the background music has Eminem in it, the video hits even harder for those who witnessed this rivalry on live television.

As the 16-time World Champion is set to return to the Stamford-based promotion on the September 1 episode of SmackDown, this video has been in the limelight. WWE has already announced that this appearance is not going to be a one-off, as the performer is set to make a full-fledged return to Triple H’s company.
Following his return on this week’s show, The Cenation Leader will be making seven consecutive appearances on SmackDown across September and October. Alongside this, the legend is also going to fight his first-ever match in India on September 8, as he’ll be teaming up with Seth Rollins at the WWE’s Superstar Spectacle event.
Will John Cena pay a special tribute to Bray Wyatt on SmackDown?
As soon as WWE announced Cena’s return to the Triple H-led promotion, fans were left absolutely elated, and they’ve been speculating what he’ll be doing. It must be noted that the 16-time WWE Champion’s return on September 1’s SmackDown is going to be his first appearance since his surprise appearance at the MITB event in July.
Nothing has been confirmed about what The Cenation Leader will be doing on this week’s SmackDown. But looking at his history with Bray Wyatt, it seems that John Cena could be paying an emotional tribute to the late superstar on this week’s show.
Everyone knows how good Cena is on the mic, but him sharing his real emotions about working against The Fiend is something the audience wants to hear badly. If the promotion decides to give the 16-time World Champion the freedom to honor Bray’s legacy in his own way, it’ll be the true tribute to the late WWE star.
Cena paying a tribute could also be good for his future storylines, as he can then enter any high-profile storyline after his Superstar Spectacle appearance. While fans want the legend to pay his respect to Windham on SmackDown, it remains to be seen whether this will happen at the September 1 episode or not!
