Former NBA star Joe Smith made a return to the headlines more than a decade after playing his last game because of his wife, Kisha Chavis. To cut a long story short, Smith found out about Chavis‘ OnlyFans account which made him visibly distressed. Chavis ended up recording the whole argument and posted it online, something that she doesn’t even regret doing.
Amidst the OnlyFans account fiasco, the dark truth behind Smith’s divorce from his first wife, Yolanda Smith surfaced. Along with this Chavis shed light on Smith’s struggle to make ends meet. The first overall pick of the 1995 draft spoke about the same in an interview with VladTV.
Smith retired from the NBA and got a divorce from Yolanda in the same year, 2011. He said, “As soon as the ball stopped bouncing I was in the court getting a divorce.” Smith continued to talk about how he felt like he let his kids and family down. He also revealed, “I put all that on my shoulders because I take a lot of blame for a lot of stuff.”
Furthermore, Smith shed light on how he is quick to take the blame for a lot of decisions and things that happened. “I never point the finger at anybody else”, he emphasized. Notably, Smith never even thought of his wife differently after discovering her early life until the OnlyFans account controversy came up. Chavis was a po*rn star who used to go by the name of Yasmine Pandavis.
