One thing that certainly caught the eye of the viewers was when Nickal claimed to use the AI tool ChatGPT to prepare for his fights. He detailed how it would help to create a strategy for his opponents based on specifics.

The Former Wrestler shared, “I’ll say like formulate a gameplan for a wrestler against a striker in an MMA Fight under these rules and then, you know then I would ask it a more detailed question from there”. This left Joe Rogan shocked, trying to understand the relevance of Nickal’s claim. The MMA community was quick to troll the fighter and his statement about using AI to train for his opponents.

The Olympic Wrestler shared, “It’s been so interesting, my journey I feel like I always try to look for people to compare and see how they did things and maybe take the positives and negatives and apply those to what I am doing and there really hasn’t been that many people that have done what I have done. I’m 5-0 right now, I started training in August of 2021 in MMA”.

He further attributed his success to his coaches and team, as well as his built-in mindset after competing at a world-class level in wrestling.
