Jacob Malkoun and Andre Petroski had the most bizarre ending to a fight after just 30 seconds into the bout, Malkoun stopped Petroski with a barrage of punches to win the fight. The sequence was so bizarre that it left many UFC fans confused.
Petroski goes for a single-leg takedown, only to get pushed away from Malkoun. However, split seconds later, a wobbly Petroski drops down on the canvas, covering his head with his hands to several unanswered shots from Malkoun as the referee jumps in to stop the fight.

While it wasn’t very clear during the live broadcast, replay suggests Petroski may have hit his head on Malkoun’s hip, while some fans also suggest a shot to the side of the head. All in all, all of them seem to agree it was a delayed reaction to the shot, something similar to Edson Barboza’s TKO of Shane Burgos.
Another user noted how a jab to the temple of Petroski is what caused the damage, while several others suggested a late response to a strike much earlier in the fight. Several theories have come up on social media and while one waits for Petroski to comment on the finish, the footage circulating on the internet is making huge stir.
UFC Atlantic City features Erin Blanchfield and Manon Fiorot in the main event
Later in the evening, UFC brings an exciting main card featuring some important match-ups, most notably the main event. The winner of Erin Blanchfield and Manon Fiorot in all likelihood will fight for the title, and that makes it a must-watch fight in the UFC women’s flyweight division.
Fiorot will step inside the Octagon in the back of an impressive win over Rose Namajunas, while Blanchfield put up a masterclass in her last fight against Jessica Andrade. In the co-main event, Vicente Luque will return to the cage following his win over Rafael dos Anjos, and he will take on Joaquin Buckley. Chris Weidman will sight in quite possibly his last fight, having already stated that he plans to retire after his fight at UFC Atlantic City.
