Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and American singer Taylor Swift have been dating for quite some time now. The two celebrities have been spotted multiple times and are quite involved in each other’s careers. Taylor Swift is regularly seen in attendance for Travis Kelce’s games.
She enjoys the game in the VIP box of Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna, in the company of other family members. On the other hand, Travis Kelce has been seen supporting her during Swift’s latest Eras Tour in Argentina. Kelce was spotted in the crowd singing along and even in the backstage area after the show was over.
However, there’s a question that has arisen in the minds of many football fans. Has Travis Kelce’s performance been affected by the influence of Taylor Swift? Is he getting too much media attention now that he is dating one of the most popular pop stars in the world and is more involved in off-field activities?
Channing Crowder feels the pressure of dating Taylor Swift does not affect Travis Kelce
Former Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder recently appeared in an interview with TMZ Sports. Channing Crowder was questioned about whether Travis Kelce is able to cope with the new attention and fanbase he has now following his relationship with Taylor Swift. Crowder was also asked if the pressure was getting to Kelce from being constantly associated with Taylor Swift.
“I’ve been around Travis. He doesn’t hide from attention. I actually went to the Travis Fest in Kansas City during the draft. He had a whole weekend where he was the MC at an event with 30,000–40,000 people at it. So I don’t think he really runs from attention,” he said.
Ex-NFLer Channing Crowder tells TMZ Sports Travis Kelce is too used to the limelight to be impacted by dating Taylor Swift.

“The new fan base is one thing, but what’s that going to hurt? I have picked up 100 thousand followers and all that stuff. I don’t know if he likes it. I would like, you know, almost being that plus one, like, oh, that’s Taylor Swift’s boyfriend. That’s Taylor Swift’s boyfriend. But to be honest, I think Travis is that guy; that wouldn’t really get to him.”
Channing Crowder also spoke about the chances of Travis Kelce retiring. It has been rumored that Travis Kelce is constantly talking about retirement, and while Crowder hasn’t heard it personally, he wasn’t surprised. Crowder said that given the immensely successful career Travis Kelce has had, it would be a good decision to retire whenever he wishes.
Channing Crowder played in the National Football League for six seasons for the Miami Dolphins. He played college football for the Florida Gators football team (University of Florida). Crowder was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft as the 70th overall pick.
