He didn’t turn his back from playing in the league despite being aware of the toll that would have on his health. Robinson’s health deteriorated over the years and he found himself getting diagnosed with the last stage of kidney failure, renal kidney failure.

In a recent interview, the former NBA player revealed, “I know that I don’t have long if I can’t get a kidney,” and repeated his statement to emphasize. He said, “I know I’m not going to have long to live. So I just want to make the best of it as much as I can.” Fans were surprised to see that even at such a low point in life, Robinson is staying optimistic towards life.

Two years after announcing his renal kidney failure diagnosis and opening up about the struggle, Nate Robinson has come forward to reveal that he doesn’t have long to live if he doesn’t get a kidney transplant. In addition to this, Robinson spoke about how some people’s bodies reject dialysis. “And thank God that mine accepts it and I can live,” he added.
Furthermore, the former NBA player reflected that if he didn’t go to dialysis then he would probably not live longer than a week or two. In a previous interview with Hoopshype, he revealed that he goes through dialysis three times a week for four hours. “They clean my blood, they clean all my toxins out of my body, and I’m feeling better and better every day,” Robinson explained.
