Malcolm Butler, the cornerback of the New England Patriots, decided to quit football after spending almost 4 years off the field. During his NFL career, the 34-year-old shared a dressing room with the GOAT of football, Tom Brady. Butler, in his early days, used to play for Vicksburg High School.

Butler also expressed his plans to write movie scripts and perform stand-up comedy in the future. The cornerback shared his feelings about sharing the dressing room and playing beside Brady. Butler stated, “Oh man, it was great to play with Tom Brady and to play with so many great players, win so many games for the first four years, and go to three Super Bowls.”
The cornerback also discussed the controversial decision by the then-coach of the Patriots, Bill Belichick, to keep him sidelined during the franchise’s Super Bowl LII loss. Despite not playing for long, Butler made his place in the hearts of the fans and will always be considered one of the best cornerbacks of the Patriots.

During those fixtures, Butler performed 406 combined tackles, 344 solo tackles, and assisted 62 tackles. He also made 3.0 sacks, 17 interceptions, and five forced fumbles.
On the other hand, in the postseason, the cornerback appeared in 12 fixtures and performed 42 combined and 35 solo tackles.
