What did Dana White say about Puka Nacua?
Dana White, UFC president, appeared in the podcast “Games with Names.” While conversing with the host, Julian Edelman, the former Super Bowl MVP winner, said, “You grew up with Puka Nacua.” By interrupting the host, White stated, “My kids grew up with Puka.”
White also said, “He [Puka] grew up in our house.” UFC president continued, “When we used to fund a team, me and Lorenzo used to fund a team called the little Cowboys here in Vegas an he was on the little Cowboys with my kids and other guys playing right now.”
Before that, earlier this year, White also congratulated his son’s friend for setting up records in the NFL. During the week 18 game of the NFL, Puka set records for most receptions and receiving yards by a rookie in the NFL. White said he is so proud and happy for him via a post on X.
Is Puka Nacua and Dana White related?
As White is close to Rams wide receiver Nacua, rumors spread about the relationship between the two. However, they are not related by blood. White’s son Dana White III used to play Pop Warner football with Nacua. Nacua is a very close friend of White’s son, and even when the wide receiver was in the Pacific Northwest, Washington White’s elder son offered support to him via social media.
White has known the 22-year-old since when he was a kid. Therefore, he loves the Rams rookie, just like his son. Whatever Nacua achieved, he became so excited and happy for him and always encouraged the youngster to advance.
