All eyes are set on Simone Biles, the four-time Olympic champion who is returning to the world of gymnastics after a two-year gap.
This will be Biles’ first gymnastics after her return, titled the Core Hydration Classic which will air live on CNBC, the NBC Sports app, Peacock and NBCSports.com, this Saturday. Biles is scheduled to play in the latter session against Tokyo Olympic teammates: Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Suni Lee.
The audience can watch the senior women’s competition on the first day (Friday) at 5 p.m. on Peacock, the online streaming service. On the second day (Sunday), they can catch the action at 4 p.m. on both NBC and Peacock.
USA Gymnastics will also livestream on their official YouTube channel along with the live training session scheduled from 9-12:30 a.m. ET on Friday. Since the last Tokyo Olympics, Biles will be back seen for the first time in public gymnastics routines.
If Simone Biles wins this championship, she would become the very first gymnast (male or female) to ever win 8 U.S. National all-around title and break the remarkable 90-year-old record set by Alfred Jochim in 1933.
What records does Simone Biles hold?
Being the most decorated gymnast in history, Simone Biles has achieved great success and holds several prominent records. She is known to be a huge name in the world of gymnastics. One of her biggest achievements is winning five medals as a gymnast in a single Olympic event, the 2016 Rio Olympics.
At the 2019 World Championship, Biles asserted the all-around Championship by defeating her rival with a 2.1 point which was the highest in women’s all-around final. She has won the highest number of medals, 25 medals, at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

Throughout her career, Biles has won the record of seven times U.S. Gymnastics Championships. Counting from 2013, she won each of the seven titles, and the only time she couldn’t because she sat out the competition while serving a suspension. And if she wins the championship this year, she will make history.
