The qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix is over and the wait for the final race begins. The top 10 of the grid is not too different, there are a few surprises.
Japanese Grand Prix starting grid
There are 6 different teams in the top 10 for the starting grid of the Suzuka GP. Due to Lance Stroll not managing to qualify in Q3 and an exceptional performance from both the RB drivers, Yuki Tsunoda is at P10, finishing the points while Daniel Ricciardo is directly behind at P11.

Besides the Aston Martin of Stroll, the other drivers in Q1 were not surprising. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are leading the charge at P1 and P2, respectively, followed by Lando Norris at P3.

Zhou had a bad run at qualifying, with his worst performance this season. Carlos Sainz has outperformed his teammate Charles Leclerc, as has been the case since the start of the season.
George Russell managed to keep his position but was punished for an unsafe release with a fine of $5,400, while Lewis Hamilton managed a P7.

How to watch the Japanese Grand Prix?
The F1 Japanese Grand Prix looks promising as the Suzuka circuit is a favorite of drivers and fans alike. The 3.8-mile circuit is one of the most enjoyed and oldest tracks on the calendar.
Max Verstappen was crowned the World Champion in Suzuka in 2022, even before the end of the calendar due to his complete domination of the season.
