Travis Kelce accepted that he is underpaid
Travis Kelce has been earning a decent salary presently from the league. However, what he’s bagging home is much less than what the 6-foot-5 tight end actually deserves. The most interesting part is that the 2-time Super Bowl player himself knows that he’s “underpaid.”
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Travis Kelce accepted that he’s not getting enough salary. The Ohio-born player revealed how his managers tell him that he’s not getting enough payment. Kelce even mentioned how he was shocked to know after Tyreek Hill‘s $30 million deal. However, he made it clear that he is fine with it as long as he’s winning games.
“My managers and agents love to tell me how underpaid I am. Any time I talk about wanting more money, they’re just like, ‘Why don’t you go to the Chiefs and ask them?’… I’m like, the free market looks like fun until you go somewhere and you don’t win. I love winning. I love the situation I’m in,” he said.
Travis Kelce mentioned how it sometimes feels like people are taking advantage of him. However, at the same time, he mentioned that he’s happy with the Chiefs. Presently, the star player is having the best time of his time and is making headlines for his romance with Taylor Swift.
